l. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In large bowl, beat butter on medium speed until soft and smooth. Add brown sugar, white sugar and vanilla; blend well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
2. In medium bowl, combine oats, whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
3. Slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Spoon and spread dough in ungreased 15x10x1-inch pan.
4. Bake l5 to 20 minutes or until golden brown; cool on wire rack.
