Original recipe yields 1 serving
8 oz elbow macaroni
4 Tbsp butter
2 tsp flour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper
2 cans (12 oz. each) evaporated milk
12 oz Kraft Shredded Cheddar, American or Colby Cheese, divided

Cook pasta and drain following directions on box. While macaroni is cooking melt butter in sauce pan over medium heat. Remove from heat and add flour, salt, and pepper and mix. Return to heat and keep stirring until mixture bubbles. Slowly add in evaporated milk and stir the whole time. Then add in 8 oz. of cheese and continue to stir the entire time until mixture boils. The mixture should be thick.

Combine mixture with cooked macaroni in glass casserole dish. It should be sloppy. Bake in oven on 375°F for 20-30 minutes until brown.

Remove from oven and sprinkle remaining cheese on top and return to oven. Allow cheese to melt and brown slightly. You may want to broil cheese for faster results. Enjoy!
