1. CUSTARD: Stir custard and sugar in medium saucepan. Gradually stir in milk until smooth. Stirring constantly, cook on medium heat until mixture comes to full boil. Remove from heat. Pour into bowl. Cool in refrigerator while making Jell-O.
2. JELL-O: Stir 2 cups boiling water into gelatin in medium bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Break each ladyfinger apart, place in 3 quart serving bowl and cover with warm Jell-O. Refrigerate until firm and then add cool custard on top.
3. TOPPING: Mix whipped topping mix, milk and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed until blended. Beat on high speed for 4 minutes or until topping thickens and forms peaks. Swirl this over the set custard. Just before serving, sprinkle the decorations over the surface to decorate.
