Georgia Bread Pudding

Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 units pudding
1 cups sour cream
0.75 cups milk
0.75 cups sugar
0.25 cups bourbon
4 units eggs
1 tablespoons baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
0.5 teaspoons ground ginger
0.5 teaspoons salt
4 cups bread
23 ounces peaches
1 units streusel
1 cups pecans
0.333333333333 cups brown sugar
0.25 cups all purpose flour
0.25 cups unsalted butter

Mix all pudding ingredients in large bowl, cover and refrigerate overnight to allow the bread cubes to absorb the liquids.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a small bowl combine pecans, brown sugar and flour for the streusel, stir in the melted butter.

Generously butter the inside of a large casserole dish (2-3 quart size). Pour in the pudding mixture and sprinkle with the streusel.

Bake 35-45 minutes, until a knife blade inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for at least 2 hours, then refrigerate and serve.
