Brown ground beef, drain off excess fat. Add chopped onion and cook until onion is clear. Remove from stove. Add cream of mushroom soup and a half of a can of water. Stir in broccoli and blend thoroughly.
Pour 1/2 meat mixture into crust, add a layer of cheese, repeat layers until the crust is full. Top with strips of crust.
Bake for 45 minutes or one hour at 350 degrees F until crust is golden brown.
