3 lb pork loin roast
2 tsp cumin (comino)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
1 Tbsp chili powder
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 can (7 oz.) chopped green chilies
1 small onion, chopped

Discard any stones or shriveled beans. Wash beans. Place all ingredients in crock-pot on low setting. Cover with water, stir, and cook all day/overnight or until roast falls apart.

Or place beans and remaining ingredients in Dutch oven. Cover with water and place in oven at 325 degrees F and bake 5 hours.

When roast falls apart, you can shred the meat if you want, or tear into chunks.
