Chocolate Caramel Cookies

Original recipe yields 1 serving
0.5 cups butter
0.666666666667 cups sugar
3 squares semisweet chocolate
1 units eggs
1 teaspoons vanilla
1 cups flour
1 cups pecans
12 units caramels
2 tablespoons milk
2 squares semisweet chocolate
1 teaspoons vegetable oil

Let's Make It

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter & sugar together until light & fluffy. Add the 3 squares of chocolate, egg yolk, vanilla & flour.

Wrap in plastic wrap, and chill about 15 minutes. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Dip each ball into egg white; roll in chopped pecans. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.

Use handle of wooden spoon of thumb to make deep indentations in center of each ball. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from baking sheet.

Meanwhile, melt caramels & milk. Pour ½ tsp. of caramel mixture into each thumbprint while cookies are still warm. Cool cookies.

Melt 2 squares of chocolate & oil over low heat on medium power for 2 minutes. Drizzle each cookies with chocolate. Chill.
