3/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup icing sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour

Cream butter with beaters until fluffy. Sift cornstarch and icing sugar into butter. Add flour and mix well.

Press into a greased 8"x8" pan.

Bake for 25-30 minutes at 350°F or until golden brown. Sprinkle lightly with sugar if desired. Let cool before cutting and serving.
