Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cream together sugars and butter until creamy. Add eggs and beat well. Add vanilla and beat again.
Combine baking soda, flour, salt, cinnamon and oats until mixed in a separate bowl. Add to liquid ingredients and mix well. Stir in coconut, chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.
Place rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on cookie sheet 1 minute then finish cooling on a wire rack or on waxed paper on top of a kitchen towel.
