In one large pot on medium heat add oil, onion, diced peppers, parsley, chicken cut into 1/2 inch pieces or cubes, chili powder, salt, black pepper, ground cumin and brown sugar. Stir and let mixture cook for about 10 minutes, continuing to stir occasionally.
Add cloves of garlic. Add pork chorizo. Add chili beans and cans of black beans. Continue to cook and stir.
Add whole tomatoes, tomato sauce, and stewed tomatoes. Continue to cook on medium heat, stirring for about 30 minutes or so until whole tomatoes get soggy.
