Original recipe yields 1 serving
1/2 cup corn or vegetable oil
1 large or 2 medium diced white or yellow onions
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 yellow bell pepper, diced
1/3 cup chopped parsley
2 lb skinless chicken breast fillets
1/8 level cup of chili powder
1/2 tablespoon of salt
1 tablespoon of black pepper
1/2 tablespoon of ground cumin
1 tablespoon brown sugar
cloves 10 to 12 fresh garlic
12 oz pork chorizo
2 cans (15.8 oz.) chili beans, drained
2 cans (15.8 oz) black beans, drained
1 can (28 oz.) whole tomatoes, not drained
1 can (29 oz.) tomato sauce
1 can (14.5 oz.) stewed tomatoes

Let's Make It
In one large pot on medium heat add oil, onion, diced peppers, parsley, chicken cut into 1/2 inch pieces or cubes, chili powder, salt, black pepper, ground cumin and brown sugar. Stir and let mixture cook for about 10 minutes, continuing to stir occasionally.
Add cloves of garlic. Add pork chorizo. Add chili beans and cans of black beans. Continue to cook and stir.
Add whole tomatoes, tomato sauce, and stewed tomatoes. Continue to cook on medium heat, stirring for about 30 minutes or so until whole tomatoes get soggy.
