Original recipe yields 1 serving
5 cups white sugar
1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
1/3 cup light corn syrup
2 cups creamy peanut butter
2 cups marshmallow creme
1 stick oleo or margarine
1 tsp vanilla extract
A dash of salt

1. Combine sugar, milk, and corn syrup in a saucepan. Cook and stir often until mixture reaches 238 degrees on a candy thermometer.

2. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter, marshmallow creme, oleo, vanilla, and a dash of salt. Beat by hand until thickened.

3. Pour into a buttered 9x13-inch pan. Put in Freezer for 4 & 1/2 hours. Do not disturb. Cut.
