Original recipe yields 1 serving
3/4 cup canola oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup vinegar (I like to use a garlic flavored vinegar but plain is fine!)
2 package s Ramen Oriental noodle soup
1 bunch of green onions (scallions)
1 package (16 oz.) cabbage coleslaw mix
2 small packages sliced or slivered almonds
1 medium size package unsalted sunflower seeds

Let's Make It
Mix and heat in saucepan the first 3 ingredients until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the flavor packets from the Ramen noodle soups. Make sure everything is completely dissolved. DO NOT ADD THE NOODLES YET!
Mix all of your dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Crumble up the noodles from the Ramen noodle soup. Mix it well with the other dry ingredients. Now pour your heated mixture over and mix well.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Before serving give it a quick stir. Delicious and perfect for cookouts or a great side dish with a roasted pork!
