3/4 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup milk
1 1/4 cups sugar, divided
1/2 cup melted butter
2 cups any kind of fruit

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, milk, and 3/4 cup sugar until moistened; set aside.

Pour melted butter in bottom of an 8x8 in. pan. Add fruit and sprinkle with remaining sugar. Pour batter over top of fruit.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
