1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup minced onion
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1 3/4 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk
2 cups cooked chicken breast - pulled apart
1 roll refrigerator crescent rolls or 1 sheet puff pastry

Let's Make It
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large skillet melt butter. Add onion. Cook until bubbly. Add flour and mix well. Cook mixture until bubbly - about 2-3 minutes over med-low heat. Whisk in broth. Stir well. Add milk. Cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens. Add chicken to sauce. Stir well.
Pour chicken mixture into a 2 qt casserole dish or 13x9 baking dish. Cook for 30 minutes until edges begin to bubble and center is hot.
Remove from oven and unroll crescents. Seal seams together to fit the top of the chicken.
Return to oven until crust is golden brown. Approx. 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven. Let stand 5-10 minutes. Serve with veggies or by itself.
