Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 can black beans, rinsed
2 ears fresh corn on the cob (I use bi-colored, yellow and white) You may also use a can of Mexicorn* if you prefer.
Onion, chopped, to taste
Cilantro chopped, to taste
1-2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1/2 tsp ground cumin (more if you like)
Rice wine vinegar, 1-2 Tbsp. (depending on your taste)
1-2 Tbsp jalapeno peppers (I use the jarred version) depending on your degree of hotness
Olive oil - drizzle enough to moisten and blend flavors
Tortilla chips (or any chip you prefer)

Blend all ingredients. Taste as you go.

Drizzle olive oil to your liking, I just moisten to give it some shine and to blend with vinegar.
