Let's Make It
Mix butter and granulated sugar. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Gently stir in butter/sugar mix. After giving it a good stir gently mix in the whipped topping.
Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the crust. Refrigerate 1 hour or overnight.
