Mix meat, garlic powder and 1/2 cup barbecue sauce just until blended; shape into 6 meatballs.
Press 1 VELVEETA cube into center of each meatball, being careful to completely enclose VELVEETA cube. Flatten each to 2-1/2-inch patty.
Grill 6 to 8 min. on each side or until done (160ºF), adding buns, cut sides down, to grill to toast for the last minute.
Place lettuce and tomatoes on bottom halves of buns; top with burgers. Brush with remaining barbecue sauce; cover with tops of buns.
Serve with grilled cut-up fresh vegetables on the side.
