Capture a slice of life with this DIY time capsule project! We've provided some ideas for interview questions you can ask yourself and your family members, but you can put pictures and mementos from your home inside your DIY time capsule, too.
What you need
1 empty jar
COVID –19 Printables
Pictures and mementos from your time at home
Make it
(psst...check the boxes next to each step to mark as complete)
Ask your parent to help you download and print the
COVID –19 Printables
.
Fill out the documents and make your handprints so you can remember how big you were at this time. Don’t forget to interview your parents!
Look around your house for items that remind you of this time. Maybe it’s a picture of your family playing a game or going on a walk.
Place these items in the jar and put it in a safe place. (You can bury it in your yard if you like.) Just don’t open it for many years!
Give these a try!
