Bring the heat with something new with dinner tonight with Jalapeno Turkey Sliders. These little turkey burgers do some heavy lifting and can easily star as the centerpiece of your dinner menu with bold flavor. Add some Jalapeño Turkey Sliders to the grill!
Once the grill is heated, place bacon slices in single layer in large skillet, then place skillet on grill grate. Cook (depending on thickness of the bacon slices) for 8 to 11 min. or until bacon is almost done. Use tongs to flip each slice of bacon, then cook for an additional 4 to 6 min. or until done.
While bacon is cooking, in a medium mixing bowl mix ground turkey, bread crumbs and half of the diced jalapeños until well combined.
Divide ground turkey mixture into 12 balls (about 2 oz. each) and use hand to flatten to approximately 1/2-inch thickness.
Use your thumb to make a shallow indention in the center of each patty. (This helps to keep the shapes of the patties during the grilling process.)
Once bacon is finished cooking, increase the grill temperature to 450°F. Oil the grill grate so patties do not stick, then place turkey patties on the grill grate. Grill for approximately 5 minutes, then flip and grill other side for an additional 3 minutes or until done. (Burgers should be cooked to 165°F before removing from grill.)
While burgers are on the grill, heat frozen corn according to package instructions. Then, place corn in a medium mixing bowl. Add PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder and remaining diced jalapeños; mix until well combined. Set aside.
Cut bacon slices in half. To assemble sandwiches, place turkey burgers on bottom halves of slider buns, then top with bacon and lettuce. Lastly, spread jalapeño-cream cheese mixture onto cut sides of top halves of buns; place over sandwiches.
In the final minute of the burgers' cooking time, place slider buns on the grill to lightly toast.
Pair with assorted-cut up vegetables.
