Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix cheeses, dressing, onion, nutmeg, pepper and 1/3 cup of the almonds until well blended.
Spread into 9-inch pie plate or quiche dish.
Bake 15 minutes, stirring after 8 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining almonds. Garnish with chopped red pepper, if desired. Serve with assorted crackers.

How to Toast Almonds
Microwave 1 tsp. butter or margarine in 9-inch microwavable pie plate on HIGH 30 seconds or until melted. Add almonds; toss lightly. Microwave on HIGH 6 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring every 2 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before using as directed.
