Original recipe yields 14 servings
4-1/2 cups boiling water, divided
1 can (5 oz.) evaporated milk
2/3 cup canned sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup 2% milk
1 can (8 oz.) pineapple tidbits in juice, drained
1/2 tsp. rum extract
1/4 cup chopped pecans

Add 1-1/2 cups boiling water to each flavor gelatin mix in separate bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Pour each flavor gelatin into separate 8-inch square pan. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.

Meanwhile, combine all remaining ingredients except nuts. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Cut gelatin into 1/2-inch cubes; place in large bowl. Gently stir in milk mixture; sprinkle with nuts.

Tip 1
How to Dissolve JELL-O Gelatin
If you've added the water to the dry JELL-O Gelatin and cannot get the gelatin to completely dissolve, place the gelatin mixture in a microwaveable bowl and microwave on HIGH 30 sec. This should bring up the temperature of the water to a point where it is hot enough to completely dissolve the gelatin crystals.

Prepared gelatin flavors can be refrigerated up to 24 hours before cutting into cubes and using as directed.

Note
If you can only find a 10-oz. can of evaporated milk, measure out 2/3 cup for use in preparing this recipe. Store leftover milk in tightly covered container in refrigerator for other uses, such as to flavor coffee, smoothies or other beverages.
