Then follow our 3 simple steps:
Beat egg and milk in medium saucepan with wire whisk until well blended. Add sugar and tapioca; mix well. Let stand 5 min.
Bring to full boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in add-ins and vanilla.
Cool 20 min.; stir. (Pudding will thicken as it cools.) Serve warm or chilled. Top each serving with 2 Tbsp. of the whipped topping just before serving. Cover and refrigerate leftover pudding.
