What you need:
  • 4 pumpkins
  • A melon baller or power drill with a ¾" drill bit
  • Petroleum Jelly

Make it
  1. Following the directions on our Pumpkin Stencils & Tips page, open and scoop seeds from pumpkins.
  2. Sketch the letters of the word B-O-O-! on the four pumpkins.
  3. Using the melon baller or power drill, create the dots that make up the letters B-O-O.
  4. Using a knife, cut out the exclamation point.
  5. Brush all cut edges of pumpkin with petroleum jelly to prevent them from drying out.
  6. Line the pumpkins up on your porch or wherever you'd like to display them. It's best to use candles for pumpkins you display outdoors, and small flashlights when decorating indoors.
